Love is Undying

Her boyfriend was a full-time NS man and at that point of time was overseas for a year.
He had often called his girlfriend to keep her informed and accompany her on the phone, sharing with him his experiences as well as listen to her talk about life.
He was all ready to propose to her when he got back from overseas. 7/07/2007 was the date he decided on since it was her favourite date.
All the anticipation was building as days closed by.
On one unfortunate day, she went out to do sea-sports and got struck by lightning.
Bad one it was, she was struck into coma with multiple serious injuries.
The boyfriend was devastated to see such things happen.
His proposal plans were placed on hold since she was unconscious.
Everyday without fail, he came down to accompany her by the bed.
Talking to her, encouraging her, hoping that she could hear it from her deep sleep.
A miracle came, she finally woke up. However, unable to walk , eat, speak and move.
Slowly but steady with family support and boyfriend's undying care and concern, she was able to pick up the pieces and move on with life.
Many times when he visited her, she will ask him ,"Why do you keep coming, you're should be meeting other girls."
During the Tv interview, he told the reporter ,"I've found my treasure, and i'm not going to give it up that easily."
This incident strongly reminded him of the feeling of losing a loved one.
They used to be very good buddies, shared very similar interests.
Everyday, he will travel from Choa Chu Kang to Changi without fail to visit her.
Simple things like combing her hair, helping her learn how to walk again.
Things that we humans do not appreciate.
Finally he had the chance to propose to her.
She asked him," Are you sure you want to do this?"
Deep in her mind, she know that she would be a great burden to him if he marries her.
He answered," Yes".
No matter how bad she looks or how handicapped she was, she is still the same old her.
The character, the personality, the love they have for each other. Still exists.
And so ever-since, they've been together.

this story goes a long way 

well i m not sure if you would agree with how i feel 

at the end of the day 

it is these simple things like making the long trip down just to do for the partner 

and not asking for anything in return (she is in comma) 

taking her as the perfectly imperfect partner 

true love

because all these are minimal 

what is impt 

is you got to love each other 

and you noe that you are both 

willing to do anything for each other 

without anything in return 

leaving side 

what is surface, material, temporal desires and needs  

because if these are added into love 

love will never be love 

its the selfless act 

by both 

that makes the loves goes round and round 

perhaps when we are in a relationship 

it will be a good suggestion to ask your self this;

"will you be willing to do just anything at any cost for your partner without anything in return" 

name yourself a few examples tat you actually did 

then you will be in the position to sae 

i really do love XXX

and you will find yourself in a situation where 

you noe you are for real this time round
